Hiking and biking

From our B&B, you can make wonderful hiking and biking trips.
There are several beautiful parks in Arnhem that are within walking distance
from our Bed and Breakfast, for instance Lauwersgracht (0,5 km), Park Sonsbeek
(1,5 km), Zypendaal (2 km), Park Angerenstein (2,5 km). These last three parks
are part of NS-hiking trip “De Steenen Tafel”, more information on:

Hiking trip “de Wielenronde”(1-1,5 hrs.) and biking tour “de Arnhemse
Dijkenroute” (13 km) both start south of the Nelson Mandela Bridge. Distance
from our B&B to Nelson Mandela Bridge: 1 km.

dyke south of the John Frost Bridge leads you to the beautiful countryside of
the Betuwe, either to the west (Driel, Heteren, Kesteren) or to the east (Doornenburg,
Pannerden). Doornenburg with its castle (about 15 km from our B&B), is easy to
reach by bicycle, following the signs of long distance cycle tour LF3 Maasroute
along the river Rhine.

National Park Veluwezoom can be reached by train (15 minute walk from NS-train
station Rheden), car or bike. Hiking and biking trips of different length are

Oosterbeek informs you about second World War, especially about operation
“Market Garden”, in which the John Frost Bridge, about 0,5 km from our B&B,
